Hero's Of Yakima

Back in May Anita and myself were invited to the Soroptimist BBQ. This was an opportunity for the the Yakima County to thank the many heros of the Valley. I was honord to speak with veterans, police officers and fire fighters. I also had fun talking on 92.9 The Bull.

Miss Washington Pageant ( July 8-11th, 20009)

We may look tired, and believe me we are. But still having a great time even at 1:00 in the morning.

I would like to thank all of the volunteers at the Miss Washington pageant, they did an incredible job and made this a wonderful experience. Breanne Parriot Jones (Miss Washington 2001 & Miss Washington's Outstanding Teen Director) I cannot thank you enough. You are a true role model for me, and it has been a pleasure to meet you.

Miss Washington Pageant starts this week!

Pageant weekend is finally here! Anita Trujillo (Miss Yakima County) has already left for Renton, WA. My mother and I are living tomorrow night. My dad, grandma, aunt, sister, brother in law and baby nephew are all coming down on Saturday to watch my performance. I can't wait.

I'm so excited to see all of my friends from Spring Forum and my little princess Emalee. After all the preparation I am ready for this weekend. I've really missed all of the girls that I was able to spend time with at Spring Forum, and I'm so excited to see them all again.

I made it on the BBDA Dance Team!

Last friday night I tried out for BBDA's Dance Addiction team and I found out first thing yesterday morning that I made the Senior Team. I am so excited! All the BBDA Dancers train throughout the summer focusing on technique and overall strength in dance. In the fall, weekly practices are held and choreography is learned for the upcoming competitions in the Spring which are usually held in Seattle, Tacoma and Portland.


There are four Dance Addiction Performance Teams for the year of 2009-2010. These are a list of the girls and the teams they made.

My little nephew

As you may have read previously my sister Ashley Burmaster had a young baby boy that weighed in at 8lbs 10.7 oz. He was 21 3/4 inches, and has dark brown hair like his daddy (Sean Burmaster). Here are a few updated photos of him, because he has gotten so big these past few weeks.

Sendoff Party June 30, 2009

The sendoff party that was hosted by Carol and my family turned out amazing. I was able to show off my outfits and my talent in front of my family and friends. It was really special that my cousin Shilo showed up all the way from Hermiston, on her sweet 16. Anita did a amazing job and her dress was beautiful. It says a photo is worth a thousand words, well here are a few photos.
